Re: Google Voice
while I have used this one for a few weeks (a month ago), i find it a bit buggy. it doesnt dial properly 100% of the time, contacts dont work well, and number entering is sluggish it doesnt recognize the digit press unless you noticiably pause between numbers. It does have the sms box which when opened takes you to your googlevoice account pretty quickly so you can make/recieve txt. but all in all i found it too cumbersome to keep.

Re: Google Voice
onedialer, much better. i noticed that with that though that the contacts are screwy IF, you put your contacts on after you install the ondialer program, subsequently if you add a contact after your phone is running it seems to not even see it in your contacts. that is of course if you are using the icontact tab. If you use the phones contacts tab the contact is there. so there is bad with other programs but really only the contacts issue.

Re: Google Voice
Just a quick heads up to those who like this app. The creator mentions in the xda thread that he may start develping gVo again. It doesn't seem to have been updated in a few months. Here is the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546336

Also, Google Voicemail is superior to regular Sprint voice mail. If someone leaves me a VM it transcribes it and sends me a text message. Google is taking over the world get on board or get left behind. |
