i found a post finally that spelled it out, the cdma bluetooth chip does not have an fm receiver so the hardware is missing. oh well. also seems verizon yanked the second camera. but of the phones they offer, the tp2 seems to be the best.

looked at the droid. the specs are never complete but looks like no gps? and no fm radio. I really hate trying to get info from a company.

I hardly would call FM Radio a "basic feature" of a cell phone...it is actually quite uncommon for a cell phone to have an FM Radio... A modern cellphone without MP3 is another story.
