Good extended battery for Sprint Touch Pro 2?
 

Hey all,

I have the sprint Touch pro 2, and I have been scouring the forums trying to find a good extended battery for it. Maybe I'm not just not good at finding anything, but my search has so far been unsuccessful.

I have 3 main concerns:

1) I want it to be something that will allow me to use the internet more frequently without my phone dying in like 3 hours LOL

2) I DO NOT CARE how big it is, as long as the battery life is great.

3) I want it to be something relatively cheap, I'm not willing to pay $70-$90 bucks for this thing.

If anyone could help, or provide some links to ebay or something (I have found links posted here, but the seller no longer has the item posted) that would be much appreciated.

I know you said you aren't willing to spend more then 70 but dam!

100$ for a 4500mAh, must really make it fat lol! last long i bet though..

I was able to ebay find this 1800mAh but to be honest it really won't as that long for its price of 40$.

Holy crap, that thing is a monster. you'd herniate yourself with that thing in your pocket.

haha! I so lol'ed when i saw what you wrote... herniate... I love this site. I wouldn't use that battery for daily terms. I would consider it though when it comes to road trups and things related to that :mrgreen:

My 3500mAh EXTENDED BATTERY is great! last 15 hours with hard use and 26 hours with little use.

by the way that $9 2000mah is really a 1300mah it works great for a back up.

ah poo on you.... lol it sounds like I'm saying I'ma sh!T on you... lol nasty isn't meant to sound like that, my little niece says that rofl, I guess you shouldn't buy that "2000mAh" one.

Sorry, but that 2,00mah battery is in fact 2,000mah, I've had one in my TP2 for about a week now and I've seen significant improvement in my battery life. After normal use (for me a couple of calls, only a few text msg and heavy push email on two accounts) and a 15-16 hr day I've got 50%+ life left where I used to have only 25-35% left. Well worth the $10 investment. Also fits OEM so no special case!

if you are talking about the seidio 2000mah, well i bought that and.. well.. it lasts much less than my used (6-7 months usage) original TP2 (1500 mah) battery. So, I highly doubt about the "2000" mah rating.

No it's not the seidio battery, it's a Chinese battery. I didn't expect much for $10 and was very surprised how its been working. Now will it last, can't say, but for now it's working.

The only strange thing is there's this funny glow around the battery, maybe Mercury or some other pollutant...I could always use an extra finger or two...ha ha!
