i would think any wifi tethering app should work. i havent tried an ipad pre se, but my dads iphone can tether my connecton using wifirouter.

I guess that is what Tethering is for,........ in case you lose the string.

Between the Pud and the String, idk about you, not sure if these 2 words being ussed this way should ever be in the same paragraph.

it's probably locked up so you can't connect anything to it but another apple device. it doesn't even have a USB port does it?

you don't need usb to tether.

it should tether just fine using WiFi and an app like WMWifirouter.

I tether my ipod touch to my phone all the time and it works fine.

download (if you haven't already) the htc wifi router program. I use it in my office at work for peoples iphones all the time. they come in, can't get service with ATT so I turn on my wifi router on the phone and BAM! their iphone works, thanks to good ol' windows mobile.

I have tethered my iPod Touch to my Sprint Touch Pro 2 in the past to surf on the iPod's Safari. But I like Opera on the TP2, so I have not tethered the iPod Touch in a long time. I have used a Wifi Router app from XDA.

So, the answer to the OP is 'YES' I think it could be done over Wifi.

But now the question is for what purpose?
