Help w/ slide to unlock **PLEASE**

I am running the new official sprint 6.5 rom. I have been trying for over two weeks to figure out how to get it to lock automatically whenever I turn it off. The magnetic latch on my belt clip turns it on as soon as i put it in. I really dont wanna use s2u2 and through fooling around w/ it i found that if i put a 4 digit numeric passcode on it it will lock whenever i turn the screen off... this is exactly what i want, but without having to use the passcode. Can anyone help?

Try this...

install on directly on your device...soft reset...

then go to settings

get into smart lock

select>> suspend lock

close the app

then go to your start menu (the programs listed in honeycomb) click [lock] softkey

you should be good to go

LockDevice v1.6 has a 'disable slide wake up' .cab....here's the link to the thread

Here's the file below...

You could also try Pocketshield....working well for me.

Hubby and I just installed pocketshield for this very reason. $10 each and we're done... headache gone.

can you post a screenshot of the pocketshield? wondering if it is worth it to pay the $10. how is it different from LockDevice 1.6?

I'm running pocketshield now, what would you like to see? It has several options that LockDevice (basically the stock locker that locks automatically when screen shuts off) doesn't. Here's a link to the Pocketshield settings...

EDIT: By the way, you can run pocketshield for free I'm told. I don't think you can download all of the background themes for the unlock screen. Occasionally it supposedly has a pop-up asking if you would like to purchase an activation code.
