Search google, ppc, or xda for g-sensor mods. There are also some registry tweaks which can be found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=110249

Enable TF3D AutoRotate/Diable, delete these keys
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\Manila]
"EnableLandscape"="true"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\M oduleName]
"TF3D"="\Windows\manila.exe"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\W hiteList]
"TF3D"="Manila"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor]
"Autorotation"=0

The sthbns registry change worked for the Win6.5/HTC Manila stuff (text messages, email, calculator), but nothing worked to keep Opera 9.7 from autorotating to landscape. I tried to find the keys in burtonsnow8's post, but could only find the first one and deleted it. It didn't seem to change anything that I could see. I am running the latest MightyRom.

This was an easy fix in Win6.1, but nobody knows how to fix it for 6.5?

Help please.

Here is a couple options for you.
1-If you would like to completely disable ALL gsensor functionality you can navigate to HKLM/DRIVERS/BUILT IN/GSENSOR/AND delete gsensor.dll.,

I would suggest to take the following approach:
This method will allow you to switch the screen orientation by holding send button:
1) Change your registry to enable screen rotation:
HKLM - System - GDI - Rotation - HideOrientationUI (Change from 1 to 0)

2) Then, simply map your phone button long press to the rotation tweak:
Settings -> Buttons -> Map with <Rotate Screen>

3) When you would like to rotate your screen, just hold your Phone button.

I'm not a registry tweaking veteran, but from what I can tell that setting was already at 0. Perhaps that's how Mighty set it up.

question . . . by doing this will eliminate the annoying auto rotating feature & have ALL screens only rotate with a manual input ?

What does it do then?

I did this:

and it worked, although when I open the keyboard, the screen is a little slow to rotate, but that's better than the alternative. I'm very surprised there is no setting like there was in WM 6.1, so you can keep the g-sensor functionality. Standard Windows Mobile, I suppose. :withstupid:
