Will not power on!!!!! Please Help
 

OK I have one for ya!

My TP 2 will not power on.

I get the charging indicator light. and it was on the USB computer charger all night.

This morning it was doing what I thought as a soft reset then it did it again. when i hit the power button it went off and stayed of.

When I plug it back into the computer, Windows indicates that it sees something but does not ever complete the connection.

Could someone please post correct Hard-Reset instructions for sprint.

For a hard reset, you must make sure the phone is already off (remove the battery) then hold both the send AND end keys while pressing the power button and reset button. Its kinda hard to get just right (I sometimes try holding the stylus in my mouth when I hit reset).

So press and hold the following together until you get to the hard-reset screen:
1. Send
2. End
3. Power
4. Reset

Did you update to touch 2.5? I have that problem about once a month or even every few weeks using the official Sprint update. It is Touch flow 2.5 freezing up. The only way I can make my phone usable again is to go into settings (I had to enable the real settings Icon, not the TF2.5 settings shortcut HKLM - Security - Shell - StartInfo - HideSettings dword 0) and select Today - items - Windows Default. sometimes I have to reset for it to actually take effect. After I get back from my trips I hard reset my device or flash it again hoping it will not happen again.

That got it out of what ever funk it was in. Thanks guys!

I tried the stock Sprint 6.5 and did not like it. I run Xpress Dusk now.

just for future reference...on sprint you only have to hold down send, end and power. You don't have to grow the third arm and hit reset as well!
