I just wanted to introduce myself to this part of the PPCGeeks world!

I retired my 7 month old Treo Pro and have moved on to the big boy, I call it "The Beast"!

Unfortunately that means hours of cabs, ROM's, regedits, and tweaks! But the customized phone in my hands, PRICELESS!

Hello and welcome. Once you have you unlocked phone with you custom cooked rom and everything set up how you like it be sure to hit the Android development section to see how to dual boot your TP2 with google's android OS. Amazing phone the Touch Pro 2 is.

Unfortunately?? Man, thats all the fun of WM. That stuff is the reason i have Windows Mobile in the first place, what fun would it be to have a perfect device right out of the box lol. Anyways welcome and happy customizing!!

Im in the same shoes...just retired my Treo Pro, my favorite all around device... and got Brutus. Awesome device though!

Hey, welcome to the touch pro2 side :) I'm sure you will love the device while its around. It really shouldn't take you hours of cabs and ect :D most it takes me is like 20 mins to 30 mins at max sometimes.... somewhere deep inside though your heart wants you to get a android!

It's not the hours on one tweak or two, but the combined hours on the different rom flashes, updates, etc. So far I am just keeping with the stock rom until I find a real reason to swap.

The only issue I have so far is when I get a call, I answer on my BT and the phone picks up. But If I answer on the phone it will go to BT... very strange the beast is...
