Make start menu icon invisible??

Is there a way to make the start menu invisible? I still want that area to function for getting into the start menu...just don't want to see it. I have mobile shell running with hero theme and android taskbar but the big start menu logo and label just looks terrible. I have searched and could not find anything. If I missed it i apologize.

There are instructions here on making your own custom start menu icon. I don't see any reason why you couldn't make a blank one. It doesn't look like a simple fix, but it's doable.

Thanks but that is just a little over me. Tried and I could not get anything to work the way they said.
