I am running the stock Sprint ROM, which may be a factor.

hey Jerrrrrry so you're running stock spring 6.5 rom with sense 2.5 at 691? did you do any changes to the program or anything? I'm willing to give it a shot too if so. before it was SOD on me so i took the program off but let me know if you've done anything else to it.

Running stock sprint with automatic overclock at 768 with no problems!

Nice to see you can run at 768. I have creeped up to 710 cautiously. I think it depend on what quality chip your phone was born with. Will see if I can make it to 768. But 710 is noticeably better 710/548= 20% faster....

I definitely note an improved performance, also on startup. I am using the newer scripts running under .mscr. I had a lot of trouble with the original scripts. There was an issue on how the registry was organized in the stock Sprint ROM versus the cooked ones.

Yes, still pretty unfinished. I was in a plane all day and had time to mess with this and the code if pretty rough. Registry keys vary by phone and so the various programmers cannot really collaborate.

I am about ready to drop the effort. When it does work, the phone is much snappier... but it does not last long before a SOD.

jeryyyyy I am sure you saw but I posted a new script @ xda today that we are hoping works across all TP2s...but you guys will have to let us know!

I'll take a look, but pretty happy with what I have. I tried to push it to 768 but got a quick SOD... also a key example of why you put it on the storage card. I had to pull the card to get the TP2 out of an endless loop trying and failing to run Sense.

Looks like 710 runs OK and I'll try 729.... slow day at the office.

Thanks for all the help. Rather intriguing programming problem. These phone may become precious if they lock down everything with Windows Phone 7.

What ROM? I got into an endless loop with stock Sprint ROM. Would not run Sense right I think....

Re: Overclock TP2 in WM?

Looks like 729 is stable for me. I think I'll leave it here with a margin of error. If you are running Sense, I think that is what keeps it from overclocking to a higher speed. Anyway, a major improvement.
