task29 question
Alright i've been flashing roms back and forth for a couple days, and i noticed my TP2 has been acting up abit. i was reading about the task29 because i was gonna flash a rom that says it's a good item to use, now my questions are 1, is there a single exe for the tp2, like there is for the leo. 2, after using this do i have to reflash the radio also? or can i just go straight into loading the new rom? and 3, is there a faq or guide of some sort i can use for doing this on my TP2? thanks for the help if you see fit to help me, even if you dont thanks for reading. thank you once again, sorry for wasting your time if i have.

Re: task29 question
Shadi, last I knew there was no program of that sort, although a thread was started earlier about that and I believe someone was working on making it CDMA compatible. General rule per some of the chefs was to flash back to stock, hard reset, then flash the new rom and hard reset. I previously had issues here and there but now if I'm switching from chef to chef, I do the above steps and have yet to have an issue. It's worth a shot if you're phones acting a little buggy and you know it's not user created or the ROM acting that way. I would recommend flashing back to stock 6.1 as I've read about a bunch of issues after flashing to 6.5, but I can't comment on those as I've never flashed the stock 6.5.
Edit: I stand corrected about Task29, looks like it's working for our TP2's, thanks to the OP and Ziggy in this thread. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=116571 |
Re: task29 question
Yes you have to flash a radio after using the program.
