Can someone develop a new unlocker using the new sprint ROM Updater?
 

Can some one please create a new unlocker? Its just to much hastle using the current unlocker. Emails go unanswered that have been sent to the unlocker team....The .exe file seems to have viruses in it (yes I disabled my anti-virus and fire-wall). Can this be done using the new sprint/HTC 6.5 release?

What makes you think the unlocker has a virus? Also, by your sig, you're running a custom rom so did you get a new TP2 or you doing this for someone else?

Yes I was running a custom ROM up until a week ago when my phone had to be replaced for a defective touch screen. Now, I cant re-unlock. The old file says I have already unlocked a previous phone. I have donated to be able to unlock instantly but I had to downloaded the "latest" file to do it. The Latest file has a bloodhound virus attached to the exe. When disabling virusand firewall the .exe will not execute.

If you disabled your anti-virus and firewall, what kind of detection skills do you have that lead you to believe there is malware in the unlocker?


You can unlock one device per license and you get one free license with the Unlocker. You would have to purchase an extra license from the Olinex Team

I am afraid you might have to deal with the current unlocker. And as far as the virus is concerned I had to uninstall AVG to get it to work.

That was the virus detected prior to disabling the firewall/antivirus software. After disabling, the .exe fails to execute. FYI I did donate to be able to unloc a second device. My problem now lies with the .exe file not executing.

What OS are you running?
If it's Windows Vista or 7, try running it as admin. If that doesn't work, run it using Windows XP compatibility mode.

I am running XP, I would love to try running it in compatibility mode, but the file wont even extract out of the zip file.

I was running WinXP and using AVG antivirus. Just disabling AVG wouldn't work. I actually had to uninstall it, run the unlocker, then when all done reinstall AVG.
