What are peoples thoughts on it my self i think its sh*t, i dont get the reason for the donations to test it out

Can you help me understand the motivation behind starting this thread?

If you have ideas on how you would improve TouchXperience, then by all means, go post in the beta feedback forum. If you are a contribution and have access to the application, the cert and a keygen, you would also have access to the beta section where Schaps is begging folks for feedback.

As far as the UI not appealing to you, I am sure that there are tons of folks that fall on either side of that topic. Some folks still prefer the "stacked" windows ce type home screen, some like sense, some like the Zune-ish interface ...

ok i dl'ed and trying to install on device done steps 1 and 2 but cannot install the actual touchex. cab i need to put the touchex.key in win directory but i cannot find it.Not sure if im retarded or what but i cannot understand the "read me" instructions..any help?tyia

Install Microsoft .NET Compact Framework 3.5 if you don't have it (download it here or install NETCFv35.wm.armv4i.cab bellow)
Install TouchXperienceCert.cab (this will install TouchXperience certificate and unlock application security)
Copy TouchXperience.key (your personal registration key you should get via e-mail) in \Windows or the root directory of your device
Install TouchXperienceSetup_alpha_1_v0.2.1.1.cab on device storage
Reset your device (on some devices TouchXperience will not start until a soft-reset)

you may get a a netcfg error , you can open touchex from the start menu, its slow i wanted to post for all the non donaters its not worth it

If this is a free application, there is no need to post the keygen here. Please follow the rules. If there is a keygen needed, the users can find that themselves when they download the application.

This is in beta and schap has asked it to be tested with a key. If you are not in the beta test group then i believe you should wait like everyone else.

+1 on that guys and girls!
This is for contributors and donators only, so posting it publicly is not a brilliant choice.
If you thought it was so terrible, and wanted people to know. Then why not just say so. No need to say "this sucks, here have some". :disgust:

Personally, I have been Beta testing this as well and I don't think it sucks at all. In fact, it's pretty genius. It just still has work to go yet.
It's not slow either. Our device may be slow, but TouchXperience is actually faster in some respects, then Sense, and has the ability for more eye candy and animation in the UI.

i think this is complete bullcrap. it runs horrible on the tp2, and he payed money for it. so instead of being a jerk, and let people keep paying to be beta testers, he decided to do something about it. its horrible when devs require donations, its foul, disgusting behavior to even call it a donation. it wouldn't bother me if schaps had a full version of it, and sold it. but its in beta testing, and it requires you to pay to use it, thats buying. thats wrong.

i personally think this post should be in the windows thread, remade to be more professional, for the people who dont have the money to "donate".

ok before i close this thread lets clear up a few things:

1.) As per Wiki - "Warez" refers primarily to copyrighted works traded in violation of copyright law. The term generally refers to illegal releases by organized groups, as opposed to file sharing between friends or large groups of people with similar interest using a darknet.
