Guidance with building a TP2 rom with PPCKitchen Build OS
 
I need to know the best:
-way to go about building a rom with build os on a x64 operating system.
-build version of 6.5 to use and if someone would also point me in the direction of a 6.1 rom.
-and anything else you can recommend.

I have successfully built roms before for the 6700, but I don't know if there are things different I need to do for a TP2.

My TP2 is not 'unlocked' in anyway.

I havent heard anything about BuildOS since my apache days myself but before you do anything you have to unlock your phone with the latest HardSPL but make sure you use the rhodium one which can be found here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93252

now, the HardSPL says something about sim unlocking, do i need to do anything before hand when using the hardspl?

I also noticed that the HardSPL supports 6.5, but does it support 6.1 too?

if u want to use build os to make a custom rom for ur tp2 goto www.ppckitchen.org to download buildos!! its a great kitchen most chefs here at one time have used it!! probly %90 start serving rom via build os!!
