Organizing app shortcuts into folders?
I'm wondering how to put apps into folders, like sometimes you might add a new game cab and it dumps the icon out on the root of start menu.
How do I send that apps shortcut into the games folder, or any other apps into their corresponding folders? |
Re: Organizing app shortcuts into folders?
windows/startmenu/programs and just cut and paste in the right folders.

Some roms actually come like this, Mighty, NRG, & Mr. X all do.

Any idea why it takes SOOO long to view the windows folder from my PC, seems like it has to search for a good 60 seconds before it displays the contents of the folder. |

BUT... if you use resco file explorer, then everything loads lightning fast, including the windows folder. Also, Resco File Explorer gives you tons of options to customize your file explorer. The only problem is, it's not free, and its actually a little expensive in my book. Anyway, if you're interested, go here: http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/explorer/ There's free trial available if you want to take it for a test drive. |
Re: Organizing app shortcuts into folders?
On my phone I'm using Total Commander which loads fairly fast, I'm guessing its free since its part of the Energy rom. Does the Resco file explorer have a desktop component to it? It looked like it was just for your mobile?

Try using JSPA Program Manager. It allows you to easily move the shortcuts/lnks into folders.
