hey everyone i just did my update to windows 6.5 and it works beautifully!! makes the phone alot faster and for some strange reason the battery last alot longer lol anyways

i needed some kind of hack to make it work for teethering... ive been searchin around and have not been abble to find anything... can anyone help me???

try to search for tethering or tether theres alot of posts about this already.

1. Edit the following regestry entries. Hard part is finding a registry editor, but they are out there:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
Extension="" Delete the "isext.dll" entry

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing\settings]
ForceCellConnection="Sprint"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\InternetSharing]
MaxCMCon=0

2. Start the Internet Sharing application.
3. Hit Connect In the Internet Sharing application.
4. Connect the Diamond to the Laptop/PC via USB
5. Done. No other applications needs to run on the PC/Laptop

save the files to your computer....using activesync or using your phone as a disk drive (hook your phone up to your computer)

put the files (know as cabs) on your storage card of your phone

unplug your phone from computer.

now find the cabs using file explorer on you phone and run them. it'll install what you need. (i save my things to the storage card)

i recommend you just install my cab (tom condon wifi) and the caulkin cab. (im not sure what the caulkin cab does, i just know i have it installed on my phone:scratch:)

after they are installed, you can navigate to your settings tab/menu/all settings/ communication and run the wifi internet sharing. this will let you use your phone as a mobile wifi hotspot for a laptop/computer to connect to.

if you want to create a program shortcut for the CMinternet sharing program (so its easier to get to), you'll need to find it in the windows folder and move it to the windows\start menu\programs folder
