Touch Pro 2 Stylus

I just got a new touch pro 2 in the mail to replace my touch pro. Device looks great, only question is with the stylus. Is it supposed to be difficult to slide out? I feel like I need to put a bit of effort in with my fingernail to get it out, whereas with the touch pro it was pretty much effortless. Just wanted to know if I might be doing something wrong.

ru4life3,

I have TP2 from Telus, had it for 3 weeks now. My Stylus is not extremely difficult to get out, but is snug. I much prefer it this was as I had the HTC Touch Dual and I lost both stylus' since they were effortless to pop out.

I can't run my finger with a little rub and have it pop out, I use a corner of my nail and pull it out. IMHO, I prefer it this way :)

Best Regards,
Chris Newton

The stylus on the TP1 was magnetic so all you had to do was overcome the pull of the magnet to get it out. If you notice it also would pull itself back in when it came close enough to the magnet. The TP2 stylus is not magnetic and so needs to be more snug to ensure that it doesn't just fall out. I did enjoy the magnetic stylus but don't miss it too much since I rarely use the stylus anyways.

UGH! I lost 3 Styli on my TP and didn't like the idea of spending $5 for a little metal stick. I like the way the TP2 does it cuz that sucker isn't coming out of there unless I want it to.

Yes, the stylus is supposed to be a bit snug.

A note - If you ever need to remove the back cover to get at the battery, microSD card, SIM card, etc.. - Take the stylus out first. Leaving it in will make the cover difficult to remove, and will eventually damage the cover.
