nope guys! didnt work...i now have santods bg4all but my messaging background remains black ;-(

from your settings tab/menu/all settings/today/ "use this picture as the background" unchecked?

I almost suggest a hard reset and start over.
It sounds as if you've installed one app on top of another too many times.
If Co0kie removed any of your quicklinks. Then it sounds like you had already installed a quicklink mod, either with or without a BG4all in it.
Then installed Co0kie on top of that.
It also sounds like you did not try the CHT Editor, or you would have seen a difference using the Co0kie Mod.
BG4all will not give you Isaac Mizrahi purple, or whatever it was you were asking. That is a .tsk theme, that you would apply in the HOME > Today settings.
Try reading up on the mods you are using before installing multiple mods to achieve the same effects. Especially before you go asking for all kinds of help.
You could save yourself and others some time, by reading the threads you download mods from. :)

santod...while your response is appreciated, respected and hurtful (hard reset)...i can not tell a lie! everything u posted i have done ;-( but yet ANOTHER hard reset??? really? minus the lack of isaac...my phone was EXACTLY where i wanted it ;-(

welp...if that's how u feel (and i do TRUST u based on the respect u get around these parts)...a hard reset WILL be done...sometime tomorrow tho...thanks!

ok...so...i've done the hard reset and i have not put anything on my phone...how can i get my isaac back on as the background for my messaging/text screen???
