what vehicle do you have?

Re: Ford Sync
It really depends on the phone and this phone does not support it. There are only about 3 phones that support it which I think they are mostly Motorola handsets.
Unless there is a bt profile out there you can flash to make it work then you are out of luck. I don't know if the hardware plays a role too because only few phone support all profiles or if the manufacturers have to pay extra for this features and they leave it out. |
Re: Ford Sync
Any updates to getting text feature with our TP2 on the Sync system. Just got a new Taurus.

Solution: Don't text and drive. ;) |

Re: Ford Sync
As a motorcyclist, this thread offends the hell out of me. Put the phone down and drive.

Re: Ford Sync
For the record, Ford Sync is a hands free device that is built into all of Ford's new vehicles. Everyone who is saying put the phone down is missing the point of this thread. The OP want's to know if a feature of the hand's free technology is supported.
For the time being, the text feature is only supported on roughly 20 phones, and the TP2 is not one of them. |
