battery like on the tp2
 

i was lucky enough to get a tp2 as a replacement last month but i dreaded it just for the reason of worrying that the battery like would be as bad as tp1. i have no bluetooth on check my email on manual 4 times a day and dont do gps and its dying within 6 hours wiht a 1 hour phone conversation and some texting. ive tried 3 diff roms. can i really be the only one that cant get this thing to last alll day

have you tried using other radios? also do you have data running?

yea, another radio would help a lot. also, have you tried the 6.5 official rom? a lot of people are saying that they have really really good battery life with the rom. Im noticing about a 50% longer battery life myself. its worth a shot.

i know so a tradeoff for a more fun rom for better battery life. can someone suggest a better radio? data connection is off

just flash to the sprint 6.5 upgrade and it will upgrade your radio automatically. that should help a lot with battery life.

I got my TP2 only a few days before the official 6.5 release so I didnt have a ton of time to see how my battery life was on 6.1 but I was pretty happy with it. I havent got the chance to heavily use my phone with 6.5 until this past week but I have noticed that I'm only getting nearly 2-2.5 hours of talk time and an hour or so of data/gaming/music, or around 3 hours of talk time if I dont do much else. I'm not terribly bothered by these numbers, but I just wanted to see if this was typical for other people too. I have my screen at max brightness and turn off data whenever I'm not using it.
