Sprint 6.5: Lost all lights except screen
 

So this evening while dealing with some freezes involving my large amount of text messages I noticed the backlight on my keyboard stopped coming on even though I was sitting in the dark. I went into the setting and unchecked the auto-sensing keyboard light and still nothing. Then I noticed the hard buttons on the front weren't lighting up at all. After a little more research I found that the CAPS and FN lights aren't turning on either.

I've messed with all the settings I could regarding lighting and did soft resets between everything and nothing seems to be bringing them back. I wasn't installing anything today so that shouldn't be an issue. Any help would be appreciated.

did you try a hard reset? install any new cabs lately? if not i hope tp2s are not going to have the keyboard issues the tp1 had......

It gets worse: the vibrate isn't working. I first noticed the feedback wasn't happening when selecting things from the slider or typing on the on-screen keyboard so then I tried to set the phone to vibrate and it wouldn't go.

Like I stated above I didn't install anything today and I've done soft resets along with changing settings.

I'm going to try a hard reset after backing everything up but with everything that's not working I think it might need to be traded in.

Yeah I would try that, Im hoping its not a hardware failure but if it is unfortunatly youre going to have to trade it in.....

Solved: it was MightyMike's light fix. I installed the CAB last night and hadn't noticed the lights all day (because it was sunny here today) and finally realized it tonight while troubleshooting. Uninstalled that fix and everything returned to normal.

I'm having the same issue with the lights. notification lights, keyboard lights--none of them work. does anyone know which registry settings to look at? trying to avoid having to do a hard-reset (last resort).

Hard reset is the answer. You want to know if its a hardware issue or not.

Please some one tell me there is new cab for this blinking light...:(
