It seems the sort order is funky at times, and I noticed it can change. I'm referring to the "To"line in the New SMS or New E-mail window. For example, Let's say I want to send an sms to "Tim". If I type "tim" in the To line, the first contact is "Leisure TIMe..." Second option is "TIM Smith". I want Tim Smith to appear first since I typed "Tim" first, not "Leisure Tim...".

Also, on a related note, when sending an e-mail, I type "Tim" in the To. Tim's secondary e-mail shows before the primary. how do I change that? It wasn't always like that.

you need to file the contacts first/last, default is last/first.

not sure about the other, but make sure you don't have multiple contacts or some other contact setting tweaked.
