Email Account Stopped Working
Hi, I have 2 email accounts on my phone, one is my work email other is personal.
Both accounts show up on the Mail tab in Sense, but a few days ago my personal email stopped working. It still appears and shows the "old" message (the last one it had before it stopped working) in the preview envelope. But when I click on the envelope or on inbox it opens up Messaging and tells me to select an account. My personal email account does not show up now in the Messaging tap so I can't delete the account. It won't let me add the account again because the phone says the account already exists... Any ideas (besides a hard reset...) ??? |

you have to go to mail set up, find the account. delete it. then add the account again. only way i figured this issue out without hard resetting.
i had to go to my text msg tab.then press 'all msgs' then "menu" then "tools" then options.. press and hold on the account you want deleted |

thanks but as i mentioned the account is not listed...it is no where i can find it to delete it

Open your inbox first, then use that menu to find Tools > Options. The account in question should be listed there and you can delete it.
Yeah, what ^^ said. Is the account listed in the Sense-esque account manager then? At one point I had accounts in either/or and had to remove them from both before I could re-add. |

i can't open my inbox. the account is not listed ANYWHERE that I can see...this is driving me nuts |

That happened to me once. I think I used the trial version of SKTools, and went to the PIM section. Then you can just delete the account from there easily.
