I'm having the same problem with 6.5 stock rom on sprint. 6.1 was actually better. I'm averaging 3 random reboots a day since friday when I loaded 6.5.

Yes I updated through activesync and my radio is 2.32.00WF. I am using the stock sprint 6.5 rom and will try the radio fix in post 4 and let you guys know if I have any more reboots.

Thanks.

Re: Sprint TP2 reboots itself randomly.

I went to update the radio and I just checked even before doing it, it already says 2.32.00WF for my radio version. Plus the update utility from the other PPCGeeks post didn't work at all, would go past the updater (tri-colored screen) and show that it was updating and then nothing else happened.

BTW, I didn't update using Activesync, I used the extract the NBH to my Micro SD card and rename it RHODIMG.nbh and restart into update mode.

flashing via bootloader &or card, will unbrick, but once it's running, re-flash by running the exe after activesync connects.

I was never bricked, it's just that my USB claims not to trickle enough juice to charge/sync the device which is why I choose the MicroSD card upgrade method.

Are you unlocked for flashing?

Edit: When using USB method of flashing it does not charge during the flashing, this is normal, you should be atleast 50% charged before flashing but 100% is suggested.

It flashed perfectly fine, which leads me to believe the answer to your question is Yes.

The 2.32.00WF Radio you don't need to be unlocked to flash, if you choose tho flash the USC, Verizon or any other none sprint radio you will need to unlock.

That's my experience too. 6.1 radio was fine, never a single reboot on 2 TP2's. I updated one with the 6.5 radio and now it reboots. I think I may put the 6.1 Radio back on.

Is this with cabs installed? Could be a memory leak causing the device to go up to 100% and then the phone reboots to clear up the memory.
