New 6.5 upgrade relock?
 

Just wondering if the new Sprint 6.5 relocks the when done flashing? i "updated" to this rom, cant stand it and wanna go back to custom. From reading, it LOOKS like stock roms dont mess with the HSPL, but i could be miss reading it (spring break)

any insight?

great, now i got a whole different issue if thats the case...thanks

edit: ok i can not flash to another rom, no matter what i do, ive hard reset about 5 times, ive downloaded the original stock, and still no luck....what is going on with this update?

as mentioned by meatgel, it definitely does not relock your phone.

are you getting an error message? give us some details on what's happening.

I've had similar issues, so I'd try flashing the stock ROM from a storage card. When all else fails, that's always fixed everything for me.

-Just download the stock ROM for your carrier, (Sprint's is here: ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Touch%20Pro%20...60652_Ship.exe )
-Use a program like 7-zip ( http://www.7-zip.org/download.html ) to get the RUU_signed.nbh file out by...
-Right-clicking the .exe in the 7-zip file manager
-Selecting "Open Inside" and then extract/drag-and-drop.
-Rename it to RHODIMG.nbh
-Drop it on a storage card
-Turn off your phone
-Hold volume down and the power button, and follow the instructions.
-After it says it completely successfully, restart the phone via the reset button or removing the battery.

If you flash via ActiveSync normally, be sure to delete/rename the RHODIMG.nbh file on your storage card or when you try to flash, it tries to load an image off of the storage card first.

If you uninstall Activesync, or WMDC, then reinstall it might take care of the issue.
