Google Latitude - Sprint 6.5

Does anyone know a workaround to get Google Latitude to work and update the GPS position in real time on Sprint 6.5 ROM?

Uh. Yes, but Latitude stops working when the program is not actively running or the screen locks.

This was a known issue with 6.1.
