Question : Telus Sense UI
 

I just got my HTC Touch Pro 2 today from Telus and I'm really happy. The only thing is, I'd love to use the Sense UI. Fake UIs like throttlelauncher and stuff just don't cut it, but I know that Sprint got WM 6.5 and Sense UI in a recent update.

Can I simply flash my HTCTP2 with the Sprint WM 6.5 ROM and still be able to use it like normal? Or will it not work on the Telus network. And in that case, can I flash the radio seperatley to make it work?

I would suggest unlocking your phone first!! (It's a sticky in the CDMA ROMs Section)

Then try out some custom ROMs! You will find one you like. guaranteed. there is so much out there that you can't go wrong. If you need any specific help, just ask! I'm also on Telus and I've done it all. Good Luck!

Of course I unlocked it first. :) I like plain though. I think HTC did a wonderful job on the quality of everything, and I like the sense of security.

I was just wondering if the WM6.5 and Sense update from Sprint will work fine with Telus, but if it does, I'll go for it. If another one comes up I'll surely be interested.

I'd be most interested in a ROM that offers a carbon-copy of the HTC Hero... if anyone knows of one that exists, please, lead the way. :)
