TP2 no Today screen after Merdins Windows Phone Innovation ROM flash
 

i got tha HTC Touch Pro 2 , carrier (uscelluar) this is my first time flashing to a custom ROM which i choose Merdins windows phone Innovation v1.5 01-18-2010m2.5. everything went good. it booted up in the custome ROM :) but now after a soft restart tha today page only displays a white blank screen with tha start menue bar... so i did another soft restart and nothing ...did a hard reset and again nothing..still only shows a blank white display with tha start menue bar across tha top..i've tried to click start but nothing happens ..do i need to reflash tha ROM again ?? thanks ](*,)](*,)

How long are you waiting? The phone takes a little while to setup. The white screen is normal for a couple of minutes!

when it finished and rebooted after tha flas.. it loaded tha today screen .. so i went in to setup my WIFI and settings and did a soft restart and thats when tha today screen is not displaying..thanks

lol..ok it is asking me to select a carrier but mine is not listed..do i click (skip) ? my carrier is uscelluar

Yes...skip it. You may need to find another provisioning cab for us cellular!

ok well i cant reflash tha ROM b/c wmdc will not connect to it...lol..is my TP2 bricked ??

ok that ROM bricked my TP2.... never would leave tha White out screen...but tha good thing is its only going to cost me $50 to replace it threw a claim..SWEET..

Most probably your phone is not bricked. I had te same or similar problem with mine. Check the history of my posts thru my username and find a similar post to yours and you will find the answer on how to install another ROM in your phone thru the SD Card thru bootloader and it will get fixed. your not bricked, pull the battery for 10min and restart phone, if you see a provision screen then your nowhere near bricked. when provision screen shows hit the " x " on top right and see if that moves past that screen. if allelse fails you can enter boitloader manually, volume down/power/styli in reset hole all at sametime.

lol...to late now i thought that i bricked it so i got pissed and busted tha phone....i already made a claim and its only going to cost me $50 to replace it. it should b here n 2-3 buisness days.. but i think im not going to try it again..lol..but tha ROM was SWEET when it did work :(

no offense, but you need to do a little more reading before you start to flash and do some of this stuff. did you unlock the phone first? it sounds like you needed to go back to a stock rom before you flashed again.

READ READ READ. you spent 50 bucks when you could have just read a little and waited for somebody to respond on here. it is almost impossible to brick these devices. unless your doing funky stuff with a radio, your phone is usually fine.
