Tools/ settings/quickgps, update it, see what that does.

So, I'm actually liking the Sprint Rom but will probably flash as soon as the chefs incorporate some of the oem drivers ( a few have.. can't wait). Anyway, anyone have the issue where your phone goes into landscape and is just stuck there? I have to slide the keyboard open and then shut it again. I coulda sworn there was a cab for this but my search mojo appears to have run out as I can't find it. If not perhaps it will just go away when a chef cooks that out of the build. Thanks for the great thread anyway!

But the memory leakage is starting to be worrisome.

Not sure if you guys installed that but not sure if it's a ROM issue or a mod issue.

Running on 79+% & only 40MB left on Program memory....eeeash.

I dont know if any1 else has encountered this but my start menu (both on screen and hard button) freeze from time 2 time

after a day or so of use, my on-screen keyboard goes crazy and gets stuck in numbers mode. have to hard reset to get it back to normal just to have it go back the next day again.

Any chance those of u with GPS location problems have an AirRave? The signal pulled will be whatever the AirRave gives off, not your actual physical location. They can also make data take longer and or act funky. If this is not the case then try the QuickGPS update as said above. If that doesnt cure it then I dunno...I have no other useful ideas. lol

the 6.5 rom from sprint is buggy, period. i've hard reset 7 times since it came out and it's still not right. works perfect on the hd2 though.

Have we been able to pin-point the random soft resetting issue yet? Like, what's causing it? Is a hard reset or re-flash the only results so far?

I ran into this issue, and found that you need to do the unlock SPL process on your phone before you can flash it with a modified pagepool. Look for the sticky thread called "[HSPL-UNLOCKER] - - Rhodium W HardSPL" in the "CDMA TP2 Upgrades" subforum.

But I might save you the trouble as I did try 24 and it did not help me with Sense performance issues. Regardless of how the pagepool is set, the phone is fine right after flashing and hard resetting with the Sprint 6.5 image...Until I sync to my exchange server and pull over my 250 contacts. Once I do that, Sense just crawls. I see one of two processes always taking 70-90% CPU...manila.exe or filesys.exe.

I have since gone to today settings and chaned from Sense to windows default as well as tried SPB and things are looking very good. I think I am going ahead with SPB. Sense looks nice, but I just can not make it work well.

WM6.5 is not reliable with HTC Sense on using 4smartphone Exchange Server and a large contact list. I have 2550 contact (300 friends & over 2200 other data items stored in contacts) and anytime I look at HTC contacts my TP2 locks up and requires a soft reset. If I turn off HTC sense and use Microsoft utilities this is no longer a problem. I hope HTC fixes their memory leak in their HTC sense 2.5 and their contact software.
