Guys, after I did the update to Sprint 6.5, two hard resets, and two soft resets...everything run smooths...However I have one issue with programs RANDOMLY closing.

I will be listening to slacker radio..then open up Opera.. search the web for a few minutes then my slack radio will randomly close... or vs. I did a little research and found that HTC Task Manager will close programs when it nears 100%..but i only have two programs running at 75% or one time I saw 88% and it closes? That sounds like a bug to me..

Can anyone confirm this or know of a fix?

Please assist...its my only issue

All my video files do have sound.. As for the email thing I have been getting emails every since I updated 2 days ago and as soon as I check them the light goes out..

thanks for the reply, ggs. hmmm, that 2 others besides me posted about sound problems on their video files makes me hesitate to reflash the rom/redownload rom...thrice.

other than the video, I'm pretty satisfied with the update. the blinking led is now put to bed - i just changed the number of days past download to today and check every email as they come in. problem solved.

Any body having issues with deleting e-mails??? i have to delete the same mail 5 times before it actually goes away.....:protest:

yea i learn to do the same, something is definitely wrong here even after going to sounds & notifications and set the new txt messages not Flash Light.. the phone still flashes when new text messages are receive...

My videos work with sound. My lights all blink normally. Everything works as advertised.... Maybe since I don't use non-sense, i dunno. So far this rom and radio have been the shit..... Sucks that some of you are having issues. Im not here to gloat but just wanted to say not everyone is having problems.

I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this but I'm trying to manually add an outlook email address and can not enter the domain name. I tried a hard reset and then set up the account before doing anything else with no luck. I can enter all other info except the domain name

I had to reconvert all my movies to resolution 624x272 or something close to that resolution and All my movies work WITH SOUND NOW! This is the only fix I know that works! Not really a solution, but what every gives me sound, I happy with that....

Good news about the video. What do you use to reconvert. It's been so long since I converted my Northern Exposure dvds, I wouldn't know where to start.

I tried playing the videos in Sense & with Sense turned off (to address the previous poster to you) and still not working. Again, this all after a clean reflash & restart with nothing else installed.

Question....

If your phone has never been unlocked or flashed and you've downloaded the 6.5 official ROM, is it still necessary to due a hard reset after install to advoid issues/problems? Or is that just for the user who've once had a custom rom?
