Memory Card access while on usb connection
 

hello.. Just wanted to know if there's any way of plugging in the phone to USB without losing access to the memory card from the phone..
it would be great if i could drag files to memory card while plugged in to usb and be able to open them from the phone without disconnecting the usb. and plus, if i set a folder/album manually for the pictures and videos from the memory card i wouldnt lose it when i connect to USB.

You should be able to do this using Windows Explorer in XP or higher. I have complete accesss to my storage card with Explorer.

are you able to access your memory card on the phone while connected to pc?

Do you mean when you plug in your TP2 and connect it as a disk drive? Because when you plug your phone into your computer via USB, and then select ActiveSync as the type of connection, you have access to the memory card on both the phone and your local computer. The only drawback is that file copying between the two is slower.

Just a f.y.i but you can also copy the shortcut to the storage card and place it in your My Documents. I did this when I had the phone teathered and needed to access the card.
