the problem here is yelling fire in a crowded movie theater...the op still after 2 days has not shown anything concrete and yet its still front page news. perhaps this should have been investigated futher before once again putting the reputation of the site on the line...this isnt a court of law no one has to wear a sportcoat to enter...this is a public forum and people should be allowed to call a spade a spade

They know plenty. It's the fine print below the information like what accord posted that draws the response above:

*Do not tell customer anything about this update. Update information is for internal use only and subject to change. If you do tell the customer any useful information, you will be fired immediately. We have systems in place to know when/if you let anybody know the real information. If this information was to get into the hands of the infidels, just imagine what kind of widespread panic that would cause. If someone refers to any leaked information about our products, whether true or not, you are instructed to deny that information and to mislead them as you see fit. You may give them unncessary information or send them to software/information links that have nothing to do with their product in an effort to subvert their attention. All together now...HIGH HITLER!

Yea I would take a guess that their OS Build will be somewhat older than the custom roms here & except for the Radio, we would be lucky to have any usefull modifications to use & put in a custom rom, because Sprint is so lax and careful about updating anything new.

Just dont get hopes up too high, and then you will be better off.

if the update were to not come on the said specified date....can the stoning then commence? hehehehe...j/k. i kid...i kid.

i guess regardless of what we think of the post, we have to take it with a grain of salt. because we won't really know how it's going to pan out until that date.

Like I said a few pages back, the OP has been a member of this site longer than most of you. Why not just give him the benefit of the doubt until otherwise can be proven. I mean seriously if it was a mod that created this thread with absolutely no pics would there be as much flaming?

The OP has been a member of this site for 4 years and doesn't have the highest post count or rep which tells me that he has better things to do with his time than to create some rediculous thread just to get a reaction out of people. Also remember even if sprint officially released a date, does it mean that its guaranteed to happen on that date? Everything now a days have a disclaimer stating that dates are always subject to change.

In anycase I hope sprint does something really good with this update. If not and its just a standard 6.5 update, what the hell have they been doing this whole damn time?

FWIW, I just got off a *2 with sprint and the woman said it shows like it is ready to be released on the 19th,

I think Sprint is too busy playing with there android phones making fun of us for using WM....:disgust: times like this make me want to get the next top Android phone >_>
