Time Zone changing issue

Anyone having a problem with the time zone screwing up appointment times? My unit wants to keep changing all the appointments that are after Day Light Saving starts. They are all off 1 hour, which means that they should all be fine after the time change, but why did they all the sudden want to change?? If I install the DST update from Microsoft, then my phone thinks it is in the Central Time Zone. Any ideas, from anyone?? If this is addressed somewhere I am sorry to bring it up again, but I didn't see the previous post.
