wow, at least some of your sprint reps have, yet small, a clue. Mine are dumbfounded that there were even customizable roms. I swear my store will give anyone off the street a job.

goes both ways, i had customer that got the tp2 to install windows xp on it. i tried to nicely explain its not going to work, but there was other ways to customize the phone, but he just went off on how i didn't know anything about the phone and screaming and swearing. kinda laughed at him, sold him the phone, highlighted the 30 return policy and underlined and highlighted the 35 restock fee and said see ya in a few days!

i love the comment of "well the rumor has a keyboard, so that means there like the same phone right?" or the people that stand there for 5 min trying to turn the phone on but wont accept help when i ask to lol.

the crap they keep feeding us is that sprint is refining the user experience for the tp2, so hopfully that means sense, or something amazing becasue im sick of waiting too!

actually it doesnt go both ways.. customers can be done thats thier job lol its the job of the sales rep to educate us and want us to buy something.. though xp on my phone would be kind of cool any one wanna cook that? lol

^^^ i meant more in the sense of reps pretending to know it all, and the consumer having to deal with it, we have the same problem but the other way around, both are very frustrating. i like it when people come in and are willing to learn about the phones and not just to argue lol

funny thing is i guess the guy blamed me saying i did something to his account so it wouldn't work, unfortunately i was not there to return the device for him and hear how it went.

Not surprising but very funny. It is sad how much more most of us now on these threads than the Sprint Reps who actually paid to go through training and we just do this at our convenience.

When I took my Orig TP to our Sprint Store, which had NRG's Leo on it, the manager and I had a long convo about the TP2, which just came out then. Then his co-worker brings some beers from the back and ask if I wanted one lol but they seemed pretty smart, and the owner actually came and offered me a job too since it was a new store. But I had to refuse cuz I was visiting on Winter Break ugh!

But I agree with someone who posted something earlier, he prolly was thinking of Androids SenseUI lol

unfortunately the only training reps get is sales, not technical. which is why most arnt very sharp when it comes to overall knowledge of the phones, unless the rep is an enthusiast or phone nerd they are on there own to learn the more technical info about the phones. plus some reps just arnt very good at sales and try to tell you what you want to hear, but get cough when the customer knows the answer to the question they asked and look dumb.
