Help: Music won't play through headphones!
 

I was all excited to go outside and skate and listen to some tunes on my TP2 with Sprint running the S3 rom r9 and I plug in my headphones into the standard 3.5mm jack and the tunes are playing through the phone speaker but not as loud if I didn't plug anything in! I've searched and numerous ppl have had this problem. Nothing seems to work as i've tried everything. Is it a hardware problem or software issue? Is there a fix? I've read posts by others and they've gotten no help. Hopefully that won't' be the case for me. Anyway my music is playing through my headphones. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

UPDATE: I fixed it! Too bad I can't thank myself! Haha!

is the headphones icon showing up at the top of the screen when plug them in?

Pretty simple. I tried some of what the other posts said to do but none worked. So I just hard reset and voila!
