i have a wierd problem that started yesterday =( i am unable to post or send messages on m.ppcgeeks at all from stock sprint opera. ive posted over 100 posts from opera with no problem now all of a sudden its just not working. after i click "post reply" it says "your reply has been added" or whatever, like always, but when it goes back to the thread, my post isnt there... even though ppcg says ive made a post, nothing is there. i posted on some1s thread and they said:

"chronster

This is really weird. My user CP keeps saying there's a new post in the thread by puff601 but obviously there's nothing here by him

:/ "

This is driving me nuts, i have no idea what could have caused this issue. i am posting this thread on IE on my tp2 and everything is fine... can someone please help with this issue?

No, I did it on the server in case it was an issue in our database.

yea man i tried all sorts of things and nothing worked except the HR.

is your problem with m.ppcgeeks.com or regular ppcgeeks.com? the reason i ask is cause ive never been able to post threads or send messages on regular ppcgeeks.com or tagged.com. it wont allow me to click inside the text box to type anything. ive saw others on here saying the same about their opera. anyone came up with a solution for this problem?

well this is crazy... when i let the page load halfway then stop it, the background of the text box is white like it should be and i can enter text fine. when i let it load all the way, the text box turns tan, like behind the bold, italics, underline icons and i cant enter any text at all.

i have a feeling it stopped working as he was typing lol, maybe not .cab i posted works fine posting on pc version of ppc.im sure his problem is the reply box at bottom of page being grayed out not being able to type in it.stock opera never worked with ppc geeks for me.

lol sorry guys i got a lil preoccupied... yea i had the greyed out reply box and opera would send me to m.website.com when i typed in www.website.com. my friend has a stock tmobile tp2 and hers has neither of those problems. my sprint tp2 was set up as a mobile browser while my friend's was set up as a desktop browser which is what caused the problems. to change this, i typed "opera:config" in the address bar, scrolled down to "user prefs", scrolled to "custom user-agent" and changed it to what the tmobile version says.

This is what the sprint version says:

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile 6.0) Sprint T7380

while the tmobile version's custom user-agent is:

Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en) T-Mobile Rhodium

I used tmobile's custom user-agent and it has solved both of my problems. i can choose if i want to go to the mobile site or not and i can now make posts from the desktop version of ppcgeeks.

I hope this helps others because ive saw several people saying they were unable to post due to the greyed out reply box

I tried this and I still get sent to the mobile version of certain websites. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the setting in opera:config, under "User Agent"-->"Spoof UserAgent ID". The default value is 1. Any ideas for a different setting?

EDIT: Nevermind, I removed the "T-Mobile Rhodium" part and it works fine. Thanks.
