Trouble Installing Mighty Rom
 

I have been having trouble loading mighty rom on my TP2 I have tried a few different times without success. I keep getting a communication error. I have tried disabling my firewall but that doesn't work. I can sync the phone but I can't get the Rom to load. If anyone else has experienced similar trouble and knows how to fix this I would appreciate the assitance.

Are you unlocked?
Go to bootloader, look at the spl. If it doesn't say OliPro, there is your issue....

Also, what error code? 260?

I didn't notice an error code. I am going to show my ignorance of windows mobile I don't know what bootloader is or how to unlock anything. The guy at the store told me this was easy to do, but so far not too easy for me.

from power down state, please press and hold power+volume down.
A tri color screen will pop up.

Tell me what it says...
something along the lines of SPL 1.0.0.1 OliPro or something like that...

That's your issue, you are not unlocked for flashing custom roms....

This:
SPL-0.63.000

Needs to read:
SPL-(numbers) Olipro

I think the numbers are 1.0.0.1, the important thing is the word olipro at the end.
