Text Message not Vibrating
 

HELP!!! I just upgraded my ROM and for some strange reason when I receive a text message it won't vibrate. I put the settings for it to vibrate and it still doesn't work? Any help? Advice? Suggestions?

What ROM are you using? And you sure you set it for texts right? Cuz on some roms there's like a bajillion settings lol

My ROM version is: 1.91.531.4

There was an upgrade from T-Mobile so I did it and now when I change the settings for text messages it doesn't seem it work...

r u sure the update was a rom update from tmobile? iv never heard of a carrier releasing a newrom...

Verizon did. I am not on T-Mobile but they may have as well. You may want to call your provider to make sure. Welcome to the forum!!

Yes I'm sure it's a ROM upgrade.

I just resetted my phone back to its original settings and it works now. Thank you guys very much!!!!

it was just the windows update...6.1 v 6.5...

sprintgirl, not sure if you had a TP, but Sprint had updated that to a newer version in Sept. that contained a lot of bug fixes and really boosted performance. Some companies do ROM updates down the line to fix a buncha issues, as was the case in Sprints stock TP ROM.

The new ROM also had a new Radio in it, which PPCG already had though lol

Glad you got it working Ms.Rip, did you ever find the problem out or were you just fed up and reflashed lol?

I'm having same problem... I have wm 6.5 and I went to "All Setting">"Sounds & Notifications">"Notifications Tab">"Messaging: New text message">"Tick Vibrate" It still doesn't vibrate when i receive text messages.
