What services can I use my TP2 on?
 

If I use the Cmonex CID/Security/SIM Unlocker on my Verizon HTC TP2 what other US service providers can i use my phone with? I am also assuming that all I would have to do is swap out the SIM card and provision my phone for that service, please correct me if I am wrong.

Any gsm service provider will work with the sim unlocked. But you may not get 3g speeds depending upon what bands they use.

at&t and tmobile. pretty much any gsm service.

Anyone know if I can use a Sprint SIM in the phone, they use the CDMA network? Reason I'm asking is because I need the faster 3G data connection. I use far more data than I do voice services.

I don't believe the Sprint SIM will do anything for you in the US. My guess is that it's only used for international roaming on GSM networks. Sprint's CDMA services don't require a SIM.

By the way, I thought the Verizon phone was SIM-unlocked for domestic carriers by default?

Last I checked, no.

You could get a unlock code if your account is in good standing...

t mobile...unfortunately sprints data is 14x faster than t mobile...but there may be a way to convert gsm phone to cdma. think iv heard talk about replacing the radio file...but u would have to research that. otherwise just get a new ph w sprint! they rock!
