How do you turn off receiving calls when tethering?

As the title states, how do you alter your HTC Touch Pro 2 so that you no longer receive incoming calls when you're tethering? If there's already a thread on this please feel free to link it.

Thank you.

because of the way sprint/ verizon's cdma networks work, I don't think you can. would be nice, but you'll have to wait for the 4g phones to come out first.

You need to adjust you DDTM mode.

Phone Application -> Menu -> Options -> CDMA Services -> DDTM -> ON

This will redirect incoming voice calls to VM during active data sessions.

DDTM Mode (under phone settings) --> ON.

Not visible on all ROMs like Stock...

How would I go about changing my Sprint ROM so that it's not stock in order to get the DDTM to be visible?

remember this is only during "Active" data once the data goes "Idle" a call can still come thru.....the only way to prevent a call from coming thru is forcing the phone in "EVDO Only" mode since voice uses 1x.

the only thing about that is it was very easy on the TP to set to "EVDO Only" mode but no one seems how to set it on the TP2 yet that I know of.

youll need you msl code.

##778#

select edit
enter unlock code
select view info (left bottom of screen)
select modem settings
select perfered mode
select menu then edit
scroll left 2 or 3 times to HDR only
ok...ok..ok.. phone resets.

no incoming 1x services when phone is set like this.

do the same stuff but change back "prefered mode" to automatic when youre done.

Good Job Cklien a "thanks" on the way,I guess this is the only way around, msl here....click here...scroll here..etc... its the long way but hey it works, sure do wish it was like the TP where you just went to phone settings and click "EVDO Only" mode..lol.

Guys this is the "TRUE" way of preventing incoming calls when using data "active" or "idle"....no if and or buts.

That little hack is someone elses work. I just use it on a daily basis and can do it in about 4 seconds now.

if you do the hack just stay in cell/evdo coverage and you will be fine. If you do the DDTM setting when the data goes idle you still can be disconnected if a call comes in.

just remember with the hack you will not be able to make/get calls and texts.

so pick your poison 8)
