Need some confirmation before I brick my phone flashing
 

I am contemplating flashing to MightyROM, and I asked in the thread with Curtis being very helpful (post here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...ostcount=19008 and also user HTC_TP has helped me tremendously via PMs), however I wouldn't mind input others might have here.

Basically I have a Sprint TP2 I grabbed off Ebay, it is SIM unlocked and all I did is pop my SIM card (I am on Rogers GSM network here in Canada) and use the phone in GSM Only mode. I am 99.9% sure this is a Sprint CDMA TP2 like any other, but with my situation I just want to double and triple check before I use that HardSPL unlocker and then install Mightyrom.

Ok so you want to double check or triple check what exactly? Thats its a sprint tp2?

That I am able to use the HardSPL to flash and try a custom CDMA ROM (ie., Mightyrom) just as any other Sprint TP2 user, yes.

Yeah, you can use the hardspl just make sure that its for the cdma version and not the gsm version. There seem to be alot of people bricking their phones recently because of flashing a gsm rom or using the wrong hspl. Again, even though you are using it exclusively on a gsm network make sure you flash only cdma roms and the unlocker for the cdma tp2.
