TP2 Won't Connect to PC
 
Hey, for awhile now my Touch Pro has been able to Sync with my Computer and others.

For some reason it does not sync or is not detected by the computer. When I do hook up the USB, the orange light comes on and it is charging.

I thought it might have been a ROM problem so I re-flashed it and the problem still exists.

Does anyone have any "possible" solution to this?

Have you tried restarting your computer?

I occasionally have an issue when I go from my laptop w/ Vista and WMDC to my desktop w/ XP and activesync. Have you tried going into start/system/connection/usb and making sure activesync is checked along with ask me about USB, etc is checked?

I recently had the same issue with mine. Turns out it was a hardware problem with the usb port on the phone. It would charge normally, but the data side of things was dead. To trouble shoot, I first fashed back to stock via SD Card and also relocked SPL. Then I took it into the store and we used the same cord on my phone as well as one of the demos in store. My usb crapped out, so they overnighted me (what they said was a refurb) a new in box TP2.

After restarting the CPU and on the Phone and it gives me the option of Active Sync, Data Disk, Internet Sharing. The phone is not detected on my computer.

I do believe that before I turned off the notification (Checked) the "Don't ask Again" box. That's the only thing I have done within the past 2-3 days, but I turned it back on when this problem occurred.

I just read Spencer's Post and that seems about right.

Anyone know where I can get the STOCK Rom and tell me how to RE-LOCK without the aid of a Computer (Since USB does not work)
