those are custom roms, not official. you will need to hardSPL your tp2 in the CDMA upgrades section stickied at the top of the tp2 forum. Make sure you use the cdma one and not gsm. Follow all instructions and make sure to understand everything thoroughly. After that, you can flash any custom ROM you want. They're a lot of fun... winmo 6.5.. sense 2.5 from hd2...

i should probably mention that you will void your warranty if you proceed... there's also a small chance of bricking your device, usually user error...

sprint hasnt released their version on 6.5 yet. its not known exactly when it will be. they said by end of Q1 this year but everyone's holding their breath on that one. there is an update from htc released a few months ago, but you want the one that comes from sprint and approved by sprint. because that would be a version specific for sprint services. if you want 6.5, you can flash to a custom rom.

SADLY IM STARTING TO THINK THAT TOO...AND I'VE BEEN WITH SPRINT SINCE 03...AND I LOVE MY PLAN, BUT THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERIVCES AND LACK OF PHONES THEY HAVE IS GETTIN OUT OF HAND, VERIZON COMES OUT WITH PHONES LEFT AND RIGHT!..AND TMOBILE IS DOING THE SAME THING NOW :angry7:

I think we'll get Android fully working on a TP2, before Sprint releases a 6.5 upgrade for our phone.

Im right there with you it seems like its been getting worse in the past year or so. Personally I think they are more worried about the palm and android os. We got the newest out of date phone possible. :(

I don't know about you guys but I'm running Mighty 6.5 and it's great. This is by far the longest I have been without flashing.

Who needs 6.5 from sprint!!!!

You all really need to calm down and should be ashamed for flaming the OP on his first post. I can see if he was a regular or even a lurker, but he is a n00b that joined in Feb 2010 and this was his first post. This type of attitudes can shun new users from the site and thus push away new minds who could add to the creativity and cooperativeness that has made this site and others like it great. Remember, we were all once n00bs.

OP, as others have said Sprint has not officialy released their 6.5 update. They have said that it will be out by the first quarter of 2010, so that gives us until the end of this month to wait. There are custom ROMs out there that will enable 6.5 and a host of other goodies, it is not as hard as one might think. Send me a PM if you have questions about that process.
