ICS auto launch on usb connection

Hey, I am looking to auto launch the Internet Connection Sharing program on usb connection with pc. I would like to get it to be in the list with ActiveSync and Disk Drive, but I tried another cab (after searching forums) and while it worked it screwed up the screen image. Probably not meant for tp2. anyone know how to do this? thanks

There is a cab somewhere to do this, but you'd probably be better off running one of CDMA Custom ROMs which have this feature already cooked in the build. Two very popular ROMs are the MightyMike and NRG ROMs. I've tried both of them and they're very stable.

A registry edit will do that for you if you are on the official Verizon 6.5 ROM.

You want to look at HLKM\SOFTWARE\HTC\USBtoPCPopUP

There is OnlyTwoChoice listed and you want to change that to a value of 0. It is set to 1 in the Verizon ROM and it hides the ICS option.
