What is the best NES / SMS emulator for TP2?

I just started getting into the emulator scene again ( I forget how easy it is to find a great game from the old days, rather than waste money on a PPC game that has no soul ) ... So anyway, I am trying out Smartgear, but I just feel like there should be a way to run a little smoother than what it offers... Anyway, I know I can search the forums, but Im looking for personal opinions and suggestions... Thanks team..

Morphgear hands down. People say you will have a hard time setting keys. you have to use the software keyboard to set keys like swype. htc keyboard wont work. its runs smooth.

You said Smartgear runs Genesis Roms good... I cant get any to work... Im specifically trying Knuckles and Sonic, as well as Virtua Racing which was my favorite racing... cant get them to work on my pc either... Are you using the PPC version or Smartphone version?

I'm not sure why Virtua Racing crashes, but I'll take a look. Sonic & Knuckes 1, 2, and 3 all seem to work fine. Try the latest beta build and you'll see things are running much better.

MORPHGEAR!!! Use the search on the forum and find the guide. It works flawlessly with NES games. Havent tried too many Sega or SNES tho.

Pocket SNES 153, never had any problems with it, runs smooth with no sound, with sound its slower fps than normal. You need to have tgetfile.cab too btw

Never got SNESGo to really work
