Re: Signal strength issue
If you are judging your signal by the number of bars you have, that is a very inaccurate measurement. There may be some one here that can point you in the right direction for an app that might help....just don't depend on the bars on your phone to give you an accurate reading.

and yes i paid for he unlocker and i believe have done everything correctly. i would gladly check any settings to determine if i have done all this correctly as this is my first time...

Re: Signal strength issue
signal seems to go from full bars to nothing and it is also reflected in my communication. i do think the radio might be the problem but don't really know others to try. again i am in US/FL and have Sprint service.

Re: Signal strength issue
Update your PRL. It sounds like your phone is between two towers and is having a tough time locking on.

I believe the stock Sprint rom came with a different signal strength icon (7 bars at most) while MightyROM comes with a default of 5 bars at most.
You can get the 7-bar signal and a more accurate battery icon with the attached cab. Using it now with no issues with the latest MightyROM WAR. PS - I am also having issues with my signal going from full to none with Sprint. I am using now the Telus radio which seems to minimize the switching for me (it still happens, but less often). http://i50.tinypic.com/j14lte.jpg |
Re: Signal strength issue
Flashing a ROM will not impact your radio at all, it may change your taskbar from 7 to 5 bars but the new ROM does not impact your radio or signal at all. Try the radio thread in the updates forum and try flashing the radios in there, it will all depend on your area, and also keep in mind your battery life may change when flashing to a new radio.

If you are still having problems, try reverting back to stock. Or try a different radio, though results may vary. Radio collection ---> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=90342 Stock Rom/Radio Collection ---> http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=91940 |
