Can anyone help me (Tether my Touch Pro 2 with a Windows 7 laptop?)
Any help would be kick+ss.....

This is a CDMA UPGRADES THREAD... only for ROMS AND UPDATES..
but use "wmrouterl" to share internet via wifi.

You want to tether internet from your tp2 to your laptop right? If you've done it with XP and vista, its the same process. Either you connect the phone to your laptop with a USB cable and select "internet sharing" on your phone or you can use HTC's Wifi Router program and connect your computer to your phone via wi-fi.

Does your phone activesync?

Easiest way to do it is to use HTC Wifi Router..just make sure your charging the phone when you use it that way.

For a usb connection I made these changes to get it working. I connect the usb cable to the phone first while not connected to the computer. Run the program and try to connect then plug your usb cable into your computer. Should connect right away.

im currently using my laptop via usb on [wmwifiRouter] the .cab for the tp 2 is sowhere outhere.. but the easiest way to tether is vie wifi...
get the wifi internetr sharing .cab and share your phoes internet to your laptop.. check for wifi connections and your computer should pick up yourphones internet signal via the app.
