sounds like gremlins from previous version of roms. Flash that tp2 stock....hard reset it like you do installing a custom....provision it...make sure shit works....then go custom again... what i do when i get issues. or even switch cooks roms....I.E mighty to Vins...never fails me..

Yup yup, flash to stock and start over, like a blank canvas instead of painting over an old painting.

Let us know if this fixes it.

I actually went back to stock from MightyRom for the blue flicker correction in coreplayer's tv out and I think it runs a bit faster than custom roms (but that may be a discussion for a whole other thread.)

Settle down...it's a joke. I said in my post that it's my fault. Can't a guy vent some frustration? If I really thought it was a POS, I'd have boughten a Hero or something months ago.

Simma' down there killer. Sometimes people just need to be told on how to avoid this. The OP doesn't look like he is opposed to flashing back to stock first and he can tell the next user that joins this site because of a wonky rom upgrade how to correct it (saves me and the other 4 that told him the trouble). It's all about passing the info brotha.

Ugh...now Sense takes a day and a half to load up... This is flashing back to stock, flashing NRG, then hard resetting.

Once it's loaded up it runs pretty well, but it does (literally) take 5 min to load now.

I was good on energy 2-16 rom as well. Then I flashed the feb 20th rom with maxmanila and got a lot of freeze ups. The ebook reader was pretty cool though. Now Im on Mr. x rom and for me, it blows all other sense 2.5 roms away ! ( I did flash to stock first ) Everything works now, and works well. I may never flash again. Maybe after the flashdance you can give it a try.

lol flash to stock, hard reset, THEN flash to nrg, and hard reset again. It's worth a shot.

If after all that it doesn't work right, try running stock and see if stock gives you problems. You might have a faulty device or something. Have you dropped it lately or anything?

That's what I meant. I flashed stock....flashed NRG...hard resetted and it ran like crap (note, long sense startup).

So, after that, I flashed stock again. Hard resetted. Flashed NRG. Hard resetted. hard resetted (again) and am fairly good to go now. I lost GMail this morning but managed to delete it and create a new one.

FWIW, I flashed back to the Feb 16th NRG as that is the one I had running really good. It's a little slow(er) now but I will get over it as I FINALLY have a working phone again.

Certain things are not erased by custom ROM like Radio and internal settings..Installing stock rom is the only way to insure you start from scratch. Hard reset only returns it to the state when you last flashed your phone minus the internal settings that may have changed.
