gmail imap "looking for changes"

Recently switched roms and for some reason imap.gmail takes "20 seconds" in "looking for changes" before downloading headers. Any ideas? Other accounts work just fine.

What ROM are you running...I've noticed my Gmail has gotten slower since going back to NRG from Mighty...
