ICS drops with phone data usage
 

I use my phone via ICS and usb to tether however if my phone needs the internet (gps/IE/windows media) ICS drops and the usb turns back into activesync connection.... any fix other than a ROM? this is a corporate phone and I really don't wanna flash.

dont know if you wanted to post in the TP2 section since your profile has TP but,

try using WMWifiRouter the older version which were free before it went paid it think it was version .91 if you can find it out there it should work, I use the paid version and I am able to do what you are talking about with no issues.

I hear what you are saying about a corp phone, you would like to leave it in the orig state as in Rom..etc or you could get the axe..lol. 8)

I think this is a limitation of usb tethering. I could be wrong but I don't know if there is a way around it
